THDC Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for THDC:

1. Junior Mine Surveyor (Grade I) –  Essential Qualification: Full Time regular Diploma in Mine Survey/Diploma in Mine Engineering/Diploma in mining & Mine Surveying/Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% or equivalent grade from recognized University Institute with the DGMS-issued Surveyor’s Certificate (Coal) of Competency.  Post Qualification Experience: 09 Years

2. Junior Mine Surveyor (Grade II) –  Essential Qualification: Full Time regular Diploma in Mine Survey/Diploma in Mine Engineering/Diploma in Mining & Mine Surveying/ Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% or equivalent grade from recognized University/Institute with the DGMS-issued Surveyor’s Certificate (Coal) of Competency .Post Qualification Experience: 05 Years

3. Junior Overman (Grade-I) – Essential Qualification: Full Time regular Diploma in Mining Engineering with minimum 60% or equivalent grade from recognized University/Institute & Overman’s Certificate of Competency in Coal issued by DGMS. Post Qualification Experience: 09 Years

4. Junior Overman (Grade-II) – Essential Qualification: Full Time regular Diploma in Mining Engineering with minimum 60% or equivalent grade from recognized University/Institute & Overman’s Certificate of Competency in Coal issued by DGMS.  Post Qualification Experience: 05 Years

Age Limit for THDC: (As on 14.03.2025)

1. Junior Mine Surveyor (Grade I) – 36 years

2. Junior Mine Surveyor (Grade II) – 32 years

3. Junior Overman (Grade-I) –36 years

4. Junior Overman (Grade-II) –32 years

Relaxation of Upper age limit:

For SC/ ST Applicants: 5 years

For OBC Applicants: 3 years

For PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Applicants: 10 years
