Educational Qualification for Thanjavur DHS:
| 1. Lab Technician Grade III – Higher Secondary (12th) Examination with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) (2 year Course) |
| 2. Special Educator for Behavioural Therapy – Bachelors / Master’s degree in Special Education in intellectual Disability from a UGC-recognized University The Person should have live RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) registration with a valid number |
| 3. Occupational Therapist – Bachelors / Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized University. |

The preference will go to those with a P.G., AYUSH stream qualifications, and prior experience working in the health sector, including AYUSH. |
