NCESS Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification for NCESS Scientist 2025:
| 1. 01-Scientist B (Group A) – Essential: B E/ B Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognised university with at least 60%marks in the qualifying degree level or Master’s Degree in Hydrology/Water Resources/Coastal Engineering from a recognised university with at least 60%marks in the qualifying degree level. Desirable: PhD with research experience in the field of hydrological modelling/ submarine groundwater discharge/coastal dynamics as evidenced through publications in peer-reviewed journals. |
| 2. 02-Scientist B (Group A) – Essential: Master’s Degree in Geology/Earth Sciences or equivalent from a recognised university with at least 60%marks in the qualifying degree level. Desirable: PhD in Geology with specialisation in structural geology and research experience in landslide mapping/hazard assessment as evidenced through publications in peer reviewed journals. |
