Indian Navy Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification for Indian Navy Group C 2025:
| 1. Syrang of Lascars – (a) 10th pass from a recognised Institute or Board. (b) Syrang Certificate granted under Inland Vessels Act, 1917 or Merchant Shipping Act, 1958. (c) Two years experience as Syrang-in-Charge of a registered vessel of twenty horse power. |
| 2. Lascar-l – (a) 10th pass from a recognised Institute or Board. (b) Knowledge of swimming. (c) One year experience on a registered vessel. |
| 3. Fireman (Boat Crew) – (a) 10th pass from a recognised Institute or Board. (b) Knowledge of swimming. (c) Certificate of having completed a pre-sea training course. |
| 4. Topass – (a) 10th pass from a recognised Institute or Board. (b) Knowledge of swimming. |
