CSMCRI Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification for CSMCRI 2025:
| 1. Security Officer – Ex-Servicemen JCO (Subedar or higher rank) OR equivalent rank in other Para-military forces with minimum of 10 years’ experience in security. However, number of years of experience shall be 05 years in case of Short Service Commissioned Officers and incumbents holding the position of Assistant Commandant in CRPF / BSF / ITBP etc. carrying the pay scale of Rs. 8000-13500 (pre-revised). The minimum experience requirement for an Inspector from the Paramilitary Forces is ten years. |
| 2. Junior Hindi Translator – (1) Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level; OR Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English from an accredited university or its equivalent, with Hindi or English as the medium of instruction and English or Hindi as a required or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level; OR Master’s degree from an accredited university or its equivalent in a subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English serving as the two subjects’ mandatory or elective examination languages and the other as a degree-level subject; AND (2) two years of experience translating from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State government offices, including Government of India projects, or a recognized diploma or certificate program in the subject. Desirable Qualification – (i) Proficiency in one of the languages listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution, excluding Hindi, at the matriculation level of an accredited board or its equivalent. (ii) Degree or Diploma course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa from recognized University. |
| 3. Junior Stenographer – 10+2/XII or its equivalent and proficiency in Stenography as per prescribed norms fixed by DoPT/CSIR from time to time. |
| 6. Junior Secretariat Assistant (General) – 10+2/XII or its equivalent and proficiency in computer type speed @ 35 w.p.m. in English or @ 30 w.p.m. in Hindi and in using computer as per the prescribed Policy fixed by DOPT/CSIR from time to time. |
